Durex’s cast-in bake/chill platen heaters are designed for semiconductor processing applications requiring both heating and cooling capabilities. Building on the proven performance of our standard bake platens, these units incorporate a precision-formed cooling tube as an integral part of the casting. This feature enables rapid surface cooling or serves as a heat exchanger for liquids or gases.
To ensure reliability, each unit undergoes pressure testing to verify the integrity of the cooling tube post-casting. Various termination options are available to tailor the cooling tube exits to fit existing systems or new designs.
