Flexible surface mount temperature sensors developed by Durex Industries can be adapted to a multitude of surface mount applications. These temperature sensors can be manufactured in all resistance temperature detectors values and curves as well as in thermocouples. The sensing elements are sealed in moisture-proof silicone rubber, with thicknesses down to .062”. The body of the temperature sensor can be manufactured as small as .5” wide by .75” long. These elements can be constructed to handle temperatures to 500°F. The flexibility allows the temperature sensor to be used in space restricted areas or on parts that require flexible surface contours. The flexible mount temperature sensor can also be manufactured with a peel and stick adhesive back for lower temperature applications. Custom leadwire and termination configurations are available. | |
