Durex Industries, a long-time industry leader in electric heaters and temp sensors, announces an expanded line of process fluid circulation heaters, designed for hydraulic cylinder and actuator compatibility.

Cary, IL – These Durex circulation heaters feature all-welded construction of the steel shroud and flanges, hydrostatically pressure-tested ports, heavy-duty metal-sheathed heating elements of Incoloy or steel, galvanized or carbon steel containment pipe, NEMA1 terminal housings, bulb & capillary thermostats or solid-state controls, plus up to a 150-lb. forged steel flange with bolt construction connecting the terminal housing and containment vessel.

Entirely engineered and built by Durex, these circulation heaters also offer equipment designers and end users a choice of options, including all stainless-steel construction, ASME Section 8 vessel construction, other heater sheath materials such as Carpenter 20, Monel, Hastelloy or titanium, high-pressure construction, high-temperature (2000°F/1083°C) ceramic fiber insulation and passivation on all wetted surfaces.

Standard designs are offered with screw-plug or flanged to 18” terminal housings, or a standoff housing for superheating systems.
